Our dance studio in Aarhus is centrally located in the city, where you can find dance classes for different levels and a variety of styles.

Afro Tunes is an energetic class filled with Afro music, grooves, and power. In this dance class, we dive into flow and choreography in a safe and motivating community.

The class is designed for dancers who want to try something new or develop their skills in an environment with room for energy, personality, and the joy of movement. We begin with a thorough warm-up and then work with different Afro-inspired steps and combinations, focusing on rhythm, musicality, and physical expression.

Choreo is a class for dancers who love working with choreography, performance, and expression. Every week you will learn a new choreography, focusing on musicality, quality, and the way you deliver the movements.

Our instructors work freely and creatively with inspiration from several different genres. This creates a dynamic class with room for variety, personality, and new challenges every week.

This class is for beginner/intermediate and advanced dancers who want to develop and challenge themselves at a high pace.

Choreo Kids is an energetic dance class for children who love dancing, performing, and moving. In this class, we work with fun and creative choreographies inspired by commercial dance and popular hits.

Choreo Kids is perfect for children who love music, energy, and being part of a strong dance community. Here they get the opportunity to develop while having fun together.

Commercial is a class for dancers who want to develop their performance, expression, and confidence through strong choreographies with a focus on attitude, energy, and stage presence.

In this genre, we work with choreography inspired by different styles, focusing on power, attitude, grooves, and musicality. Our instructors challenge both your technique, performance, and ability to interpret music through movement.

Commercial is a class where it is all about daring to take up space, developing your own style, and going full out.

In Contemporary, we work with technique, balance, flexibility, and quality of movement.

The genre draws inspiration from ballet, jazz, and modern dance, combining technical elements with flow, musicality, and emotions. During class, we work with choreography, improvisation, and floorwork, exploring and developing the body’s movement patterns.

Dance Kids 5-7 years is a fun dance class for children who want to learn how to dance in a child-friendly environment to different types of music.

Throughout the season, we work with simple choreographies, small tricks, and playful movement exercises where dance is explored. Steps are repeated and gradually built up, allowing all dancers to participate and develop at their own pace.

Sometimes we end the season with a small show for the parents, where the children get to show everything they have learned.

In Dancehall Fusion, we use dancehall as the foundation, but in a fusion style where we build both basic technique and steps while exploring different expressions and choreographies.

On the beginner/intermediate level, you will get a thorough introduction to dancehall foundations. We take time with the steps, work with simple choreographies, and create space for everyone to participate - regardless of experience. The focus is on learning, confidence, and building a strong foundation you can continue developing from.

On the intermediate/advanced level, we work with tempo, energy, and complexity. You already have knowledge of the foundations and will be challenged further with timing, flow, and performance. We continue working with the basic elements but at a faster pace and with greater focus on musicality and presence in movement.

Common for both levels is a lively and inclusive space where we develop together and create room for both fun and deeper focus.

Female Dancehall is an energetic and empowering class based on feminine dancehall expressions, foundations, steps, and body isolations. The genre has roots in Jamaican dance culture and contains both strength, attitude, and a playful approach to movement.

In class, we work with classic dancehall foundations and build further with grooves, isolations, and different wine techniques. Everything is incorporated into choreographies, where the focus is on rhythm, timing, and body control.

Female Dancehall is an inclusive and down-to-earth community where there is room to learn at your own pace and develop.

Feminine is a class for you who want to dance with confidence, attitude, and personality. Here you will be welcomed into a safe space where you can learn at your own pace while challenging yourself along the way.

We work with basic steps, posture, and expression, and introduce simple choreographies focusing on daring to take up space, moving with power, and getting to know your body.

Along the way, we build layers so you gradually gain more control, more flow, and more freedom in your expression.

Femme Style is a class for you who want to explore feminine movements, attitude, and physical expression through choreography. Here we work on building confidence in movement and finding strength in both precise, soft, and powerful expressions.

Every week you will learn new choreography where we explore different dynamics, tempos, and expressions - from elegant and controlled to more explosive and performative.

The focus is on musicality, posture, flow, and presence, while still leaving room for personal development and individual style.

Freestyle Session is an open training space for you who want to explore your own movement and strengthen your freestyle abilities.

Here we do not work with fixed choreographies, but instead use prompts that help you find your own style, your own flow, and your own way of moving. The focus is on musicality, timing, and personal expression.

The session creates space to experiment and develop in a safe community where the process is more important than the result. You will be guided through different exercises that strengthen your creativity, body awareness, and confidence as a dancer.

Girly Pop combines elements from genres such as hip hop and commercial dance and is characterized by a playful and energetic approach to movement. Here we work with choreography, performance, and attitude through the rhythms and expressions of pop music.

In class, the focus is on musicality, confidence, and daring to fully express yourself through movement. We work with technique, grooves, and dynamics while exploring how different energies can be expressed through dance.

Girly Pop is a high-energy and inclusive space with room for personality, development, and the joy of dancing.

In Heels, you will be guided through different techniques such as walks, turns, and floorwork - all designed to strengthen your development as a heels dancer. You will always work with choreography where technique and expression go hand in hand.

The beginner class has a slower pace where the choreographies are simpler in timing, and we take the time to go deeper into each step. This class is for you who are completely new to heels or who are not used to moving within a more feminine style.

The intermediate class is slightly more challenging, both in steps and timing. It is for you who have tried heels before - or who are ready to challenge yourself and continue developing.

Hip Hop 21+ is a class for you who want to learn hip hop from the beginning, get a good workout, and have fun in a safe community.

We start each class by working with basic grooves, bounce, and the most important hip hop foundations that form the foundation of the genre. Afterwards, we incorporate these elements into choreography that introduces you to how hip hop moves, feels, and is structured.

You will be both challenged and guided at a pace where everyone can participate — with room to develop together over time

Hip Hop 25+ is one of Locked Up Studio’s adult hip hop classes, where we dance whatever the class is inspired by within the broad hip hop genre.

We move freely between inspirations from break, dancehall, waacking, shuffle, house, old school, and everything in between.

The class is created for you who love moving, getting a good sweat going, and having fun in a strong community. Although the intensity can vary, we always make sure there are repetitions and time to get comfortable with the steps, creating space for both learning and deeper focus.

Hip Hop Choreo is a class for advanced dancers who already have a solid foundation in hip hop and want to develop through choreography.

We work with choreographies where the focus is on musicality, dynamics, and performance. You are expected to know the basic hip hop steps, allowing us to dive deeper into details, movement quality, and stage expression.

The class challenges your technique, timing, and ability to interpret choreography, while creating space to explore both flow and expression.

Hip Hop Foundations is a class for you who want to learn hip hop basics from the very beginning and build a strong foundation in the genre.

We work with important basics such as bounce, grooves, and fundamental steps, and use the movements actively in simple combinations so you learn how the steps work in practice and with music.

The class focuses on repetition, understanding, and confident learning. Hip Hop Foundations is for you who want to learn the right basics from the start and become comfortable with the language of hip hop in an open and energetic environment.

In Hip Hop Kids 8-12 years, we explore the world of hip hop, where we both learn fun choreographies and build a strong understanding of the foundations and technical elements of the style.

The class is based on groove, bounce, and musicality. We dance to lots of great music, and the focus is on everyone having fun while also developing as a dancer, finding their own style, and making new friends.

The class is for children aged 8-12 who love giving their all and dancing hip hop.

Hip Hop Starters is for you who want to take your very first steps into the world of hip hop and learn the basic movements.

We work with hip hop foundations, simple combinations, and short choreographies, gradually introducing you to steps, groove, and musicality.

The class takes place at a calm and inclusive pace where everyone can participate. We build up gradually, helping you strengthen both your coordination and confidence.

Hip Hop Starters is the perfect class if you want to try hip hop for the first time and have a safe, fun, and positive start.

In Jazz, we work with the fundamental elements of jazz - including turns, jumps, balance, and flexibility.

The class begins with a thorough warm-up and technical exercises, followed by combinations where you get the opportunity to apply the technique through movement.

The style is known for its theatrical expression, sharp isolations, and dynamic movements and is often seen on the musical theatre stage.

The class is ideal for you who want to dive deeper into the details and develop a stronger technical foundation and stage presence.

In KPOP Choreo, we work with the energy, precision, and performance that KPOP is known for.

The genre combines elements from pop, hip hop, R&B, EDM, and funk, creating a dynamic style with strong musicality and detailed choreographies.

In class, we work with both covers of original KPOP choreographies and new choreographies inspired by the genre, focusing on timing, expression, and performance.

Whether you are new to KPOP or already have experience, you will be welcomed into a safe and motivating environment with room to develop, challenge yourself, and have fun with dance.

Every class we work on new combinations and choreographies, giving you continuous opportunities to strengthen your dancing.

In KPOP Teens, we dance to the KPOP songs you know and love and work with the energy, precision, and performance that the genre is known for.

KPOP combines elements from pop, hip hop, R&B, EDM, and funk, creating a style with strong choreographies, musicality, and lots of attitude.

In class, we work with both covers of original KPOP choreographies and new choreographies inspired by the genre. The focus is on timing, performance, expression, and dancing as part of a community where we develop together through training.

Whether you are new to KPOP or already have experience, you will be welcomed into a safe and motivating environment with other dancers aged 12-17, where there is room to learn, challenge yourself, and have fun with dance.

Popping is a class for you who want to dive into the foundations behind popping and work with the techniques that make the style so precise, dynamic, and distinctive.

Popping is a style with roots in funk and hip hop, where music, control, and body awareness are closely connected. In class, we work with techniques such as pops, body isolations, tutting, and waving, and you will develop an understanding of how movement, musicality, and timing connect within the style.

Popping is strongly inspired by the idea of “the human robot”, and through exercises and technical training, we work on creating illusions, control, and sharp movements in the body.

Popping is a safe and inclusive space with room for curiosity, focus, and development.

Teens Choreo is for dancers aged 12-17 who want to challenge themselves and develop their dancing.

We primarily work within hip hop, but the choreographies often draw inspiration from other genres, helping you expand your movement vocabulary and gain a broader understanding of dance.

The class is for intermediate and advanced dancers who are ready to try something new, challenge themselves, and develop in an inspiring community.

Each class has an intensive focus on technique, musicality, and expression, and you will be challenged with choreographies that develop your strength, body control, and performer skills.

Here we work purposefully with movement quality, explore new ways of moving, and dive deeper into choreographic understanding.
